Mikvah of East Denver Entrance.png

What is a mikvah?

A mikvah is water that has fallen from the heavens (think rain and snow) that is collected — according to ancient Jewish laws — and channeled into a space in which individuals immerse to mark traditional life events and transitions. A mikvah is essential both to build and sustain a Jewish community. Learn today’s purpose of this ancient ritual, which some know little about, while others practice it as the centerpiece of Jewish life.

Our mission is to provide the best mikvah experience to everyone in our Jewish community.

Did you know that the word spirituality literally contains the word ritual?

“The mikvah is our physical pathway to a spiritual destination.” - Aliza Bulow.

How do we experience spiritual transformation here on Earth? Find out how the ritual of mikvah makes us new again, changes our present status in order to transform our path into a place of newness and connection.

Join in on our Immersion Circle program where educators throughout the community are available to teach about the spirituality of water and immersion in Judaism. This project is deep with history and designed to meet the needs of the entire Denver Jewish Community.
