Always on the run with her own littles, Ayala is passionate about her work with children and the adults in their lives. This is also her second run when it comes to building a community mikvah; the first was in greater Kansas City. Ayala has a Bachelor of Arts in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University and a Master of Science and Psy.D. in School Psychology from St. John’s University. 

Why this project?

I am excited about finding ways to unite the entire Jewish community through a common purpose. I believe in this project’s potential to inspire teaching, learning, reflection and connection for so many.
